RESOLUTION NO. 7856
WHEREAS, Bessemer Properties, Inc. , has offered to sell
to the City of Miami Beach, Florida, those certain parcels of laid
situate, lying and being in Iiami Beach, Dade County, Florida, des-
cribed as follows, to-mit:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Block 111
of OCEAN BEACI-I ADDITION NO. 3, according to
the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2,
at page 81, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida,
as is fully set forth by ltiesolution Igo. 7807 and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, did duly accept said offer as is set forth in said Resol-
ution No. 7807, and
WHEREAS, it was provided in said Resolution No. 7807 as
follows:
"It being understood that BESSE= PROPERTIES,
INC. , will retain the right to at any time
prior to January 1, 1952, remove the existing
pumps, pipes and oil and gasoline tanks az d
foundations to which they are attached now on
the said lands. "
AND WHEREAS, the said Bessemer Properties, Inc. , has re-
quested the City Council of the City of Miami Beach to extend the
tine within which it may remove the said existing pumps, pipes and
oil and gasoline tanks and foundations, and the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida., is willing so to do.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that Resolution No. 707 be and the
same is hereby amended so that the same shall read as follows:
"It being understood that Bessemer Properties,
Inc . , will retain the right to at any time
within Ninety (90) days after the consummation
of the transaction contemplated hereby, remove
the existing pumps, pipes and oil and gasoline
tanks and foundations to which they are attached
now on the said lands . "
That all resolutions or parts thereof in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby declared to be superseded hereby and in-
operative to the extent of such conflict.
It is further RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to furnish to Bessemer rroperties, Inc. , a certified
copy of this resolution.
