SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals(RFP) No. 2018-186-WG,for Golf
Course Operation and Management Services
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals(RFP) No.2018-186-WG,which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s)for the
operation and management of City golf courses.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on Friday, August 3, 2018. The responsive proposals
will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Jose Del Risco. Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation, City of Miami Beach
• Rodney Knowles, Director, Public Works Department. Greenspace Division,City of Miami Beach
• Omar Luna, Parks and Recreation Director. City of Miami Springs
• Gerald K. Schwartz. Resident
• Margarita Wells, Assistant Director, Environment and Sustainability Department, City of Miami
Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Rob Bryans, Resident
• John Rebar, Director, Parks and Recreation Department. City of Miami Beach
• David Vazquez, Interim Director, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts, City of Hollywood
