Resolution 7861 RESOLUTION N O. 7861
:HERE AS, the Owners thereof have offered to sell to the
City of jiami Beach for the sum of $28,850.00 in cash that
certain parcel of land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach,
Dade County, Florida, described as follows : -
Lot 24, Block 4, of ORCHARD SUBDIVISION
NO. 4, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 25, at page 30,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
AND 'iHrIREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be to the best interest of the said City to acquire
said land at said price and on -he terms and conditions set
forth in said offer, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement
between the parties by the terrrs of which the Owners agree to
sell and the City agrees to buy said land, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms
of said agreement.
NO':d, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida , that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and. they are hereby authorizeand directed to execute the
said agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City, and
the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized and directed ,
subject to the approval of the title by the City Attorney, to
consummate the transaction contemplated hereby, and the disburs-
ing officers of the City are " hereby authorized and directed to
make the expenditures requiredto comply with the terms of said
agreement out of the funds of the City availabb for such purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21 day of Novemb A. D. 1951.
