Resolution 7873 RESOLUTION NO. 7873
WHEREAS, on August 31, 1951, all construction had been
completed on Whiteway Improvements designated WW-62 through WW-
85, inclusive , and the cost and incidental expense in connection
with said construction had been fully paid out of the proceeds
of the sale of the "Whiteway Lighting System Bonds", dated
August 1, 1949, leaving a balance on August 31, 1951, in said
Whiteway Lighting System Bond fund of $346,612.43, and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the completion of said Whiteway Im-
provements WW-62 through WW-85, inclusive , certain other White-
way Improvements, designated ww-86, WW-87, ww-88, WW-89, WW-90,
Ww-9l, ww-92, Ww-93, WW-94, ww-95, ww-98, WW-99, and WW-100, were
authorized in due form by the City Council to be paid for out of
funds advanced from Current Fund Surplus, to be reimbursed from
the unexpended balance of proceeds from the aforesaid Whiteway
Lighting System Bond fund, and
WHEREAS, Current Fund Surplus has been reimbursed out of
the said unexpended balance of said Whiteway Lighting System Bond
fund for all expenditures to date for cost and incidental expense
in connection with the construction of said Whiteway Improvements
WW-86, waw-87, WW-88, WW-89, WW-90, WW-91, WW-92, WW-93, WW-94,
WW-95, WW-98, WW-99, and WW-100,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the unofficial designation
"unexpended balance of proceeds from the sale of the 'Whiteway
Lighting System Bonds ' ", which has been used in Resolutions
Numbers 7170, 7171, 7172, 7232, 7217, 7256, 7322, 7323, 7402,
7403, 7404, 7416, and 7505, to identify these unexpended funds
remaining in the aforementioned "Whiteway Lighting System Bond
Fund", be and the same is hereby confirmed, and said remaining
unexpended funds shall hereafter be designated in all resolutions
and proceedings as "Whiteway Lighting System Bond Fund Balance" .
