RESOLUTION NO. 7899
Accepting with Regret the
resignation of
H. Milton Link
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, had the good
fortune to employ Mr. H. Milton Link, some ten years ago, in
the capacity of Park Superintendent, and
WHEREAS, due to the marvelous improvement which was rapid-
ly brought about by Mr. Link in the landscaping of our parks,
parkways, and public properties, our city has taken on an
added 'cared for" beauty, which has brought in and maintained
a popular wave of commendation, both from our citizens and our
visitors, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Link, in addition to carrying on his park
duties, has for the past two years done an outstanding job as
Assistant to our City Manager; capably and meticulously handling
the vast details of this administrative position in such a
manner as to be of inestimable value to this City Council, and
WHEREAS, this Body, in accepting the resignation of
Assistant City Manager and Park Superintendent H. Milton Link,
does so with the utmost reluctance and regret;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we do hereby unanimously
extend to Mr. Link our earnest and sincere congratulations on
the fine opportunity open to him in his new assignment and it
is our hope that he will enjoy every success in a long and useful
life of public service .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 9th day of January, A. D. 1952.
