Resolution 7940 RESOLUTION NO. 7940
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of :'iami Beach
has been advised that the Anerican Financial and Development
Corporation for Israel desires to lease the premises and facili-
ties of the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium for the presentation
of a performance to be known as "Stars Over Israel" and a Bond
Rally, on Monday, March 10th, 1952, and
,TTEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of, and is
1 familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease agreement
and deems it to be to the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of said 1 ease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above described lease agreement on behalf of the City of
Miami Beach and that the Auditorium Tanager is hereby authorized
and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions under-
taken therein by the City.
