Resolution 7941 RESOLUTION 7941
WHEREAS, The Housing Authority of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has requested the City of Miami Beach to enter into a
written agreement with said Housing Authority to supply for a
term of two years the water requirements of said Authority and
the tenants of the housing project in connection with which
dwellings are to be constructed by the Authority in that area
of the City of Miami Beach which is bounded on the east by the
west line of Washington Avenue; on the :rest by the east line of
Jefferson Avenue extended; on the south by a line parallel to
and one hundred and thirty-two (132.0) feet south of the north
line of Section 10, Township 54 South, aange 42 East; on the
north by the north line of said Section 10, which is also the
south line of Biscayne Street, and
WHEREAS, a contract has been Prepared in compliance with
such request, the City Council having familiarized itself with
the contents of such contract, the form of which has been ap-
proved by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best
interest of the City to enter into said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said contract in the name of and on behalf of said City.
