WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WW-114 WW-114
WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution passed and
adopted on the 20th day of February , 1952, ordered the
Whiteway Improvement WW-114 , District WW-114, and the City
Engineer has prepared and filed with the City Clerk plans and
specifications of such improvement and an estimate of the cost
thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the incidental
expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by publi-
cation as required by the City Charter has been made that the
City Council would on the 5th day of March , 1952 ,
at the City Hall in said City at 10:00 o 'clock A. M. , receive
and hear objections of all persons interested to the confir-
mation of said resolution ordering said improvement, and no
objections having been presented at the time and place afore-
said,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said
City Council ordering said Whiteway Improvement WW-114 ,
District WW-114, be and the same is hereby confirmed, and the
City Council does hereby declare its intention to have the work
necessary to the accomplishment of said improvement done by
City forces without contract; that the City Council does hereby
declare its intention to levy a special assessment against
properties comprising said District WW-114 , for the payment of
part of the costs and expenses of said improvement, in accordance
with the resolution ordering this improvement to be made , and
to collect said special assessments and place the proceeds
thereof in its local Improvement Bond Fund, and for the purpose
of advancing such costs and expenses, $ 14,049.20 18
hereby appropriated from the Whiteway Lighting System Bond Fund
Balance .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of March ,A.D. ,
1952 .
