Resolution 7947 RESOLUTION NO. 7947 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING AND DESIGNATING CLERKS AND INSPECTORS FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MARCH 25, 1952. Whereas, for the purpose of holding and conducting the Special Municipal Election to be held on March 25, 1952, the City has been divided into eight voting precincts or election districts, numbered 25 td 32, inclusive, the boundaries of said precincts or districts having been officially described in Resolution No. 7938, as passed and adopted by the City Council on February 20, 1952. Whereas, official notice of said election is being published pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 7938, passed and adopted by the City Council on February 20, 1952. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That for the purpose of holding and conducting the said Special Municipal Election on March 25, 1952, eight election boards be provided, one for each polling place, the registration books of said ity be divided into eight parts corresponding to the voting precincts or election districts as heretofore desig- nated, and that for said purpose Clerks and Inspectors be and they are hereby appointed and designated as follows: PRECINCT N0`. 25: Clerk: John F. Fiske Adams Inspectors: Claire W. Baker Adolph Finkler Helen Greenwald PRECINCT NO. 28: Clerk: W. S . Eckert Inspectors: Bernice Freedman Charles Oppenheim Rosa B. Greenberg PRECINCT NO. 29: Clerk: Max J. Eanett Inspectors: Jennie Lindeman Florence Brooks Joseph Mack - 1 - PRECINCT NO. 30: Clerk: David Stark Inspectors: Harry Miller Lillian Rourke Gladys M. Cumberland Ethel Lipowsky Belle Spivack all of which above names, the City Clerk shall certify to the Mayor. That Frank Lewis be, and he is hereby appointed, custodian of the voting machines to be used in this election. SECTION 2: That Notice of the foregoing appointments be given by publishing, as prescribed by law, in the Florida Sun, a newspaper published in the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
