Resolution 7971 RESOLUTION NO. 7c1-71 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of I•iiami beach, Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for public park purposes, those certain parcels of land situate, lying mid being in Miami Leach, Dade County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as numbered parcels and described as follows, to wit: PARCEL NUMBER ONE Lot Six ( 6) of The Indian Beach Corporation' s Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plt Book 8, at page 61, of the Public Records of Dade County, 2lorida, to- gether with all riparian rights appurtenant thereto. AND ALSO a strip of land lying west of Collins Avenue and adjoining Indian Creek on the Easterly side thereof, the northerly boundary line of which is the northerly line of said Lot Six (6) extended westerly to Indian Creek and the Southerly boundary line of which is the Southerly line of said Lot Six (6) extended Westerly to Indian Creek, together with riparian rights and water privileges appurtenant and adjacent thereto. PARCEL NUi•fl ER TWO ` Lot Seven (7) and the South One-half of Lot Eight (8) of The Indian Beach Corporation' s Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in flat Book 8, at page 61, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, to- gether with all riparian rights appurtenant thereto. AND ALSO a strip of land lying West of Collins Avenue and adjoining Indian Creek on the Easterly side thereof, the northerly boundary line of which is the northerly line of the South One-half of said Lot Eight (8) extended Westerly to 'Indian &Ireek and the Southerly boundary line of which is the Southerly line of said Lot Seven (7) extended Westerly to Indian Creek, together with riparian rights and water privileges appurtenant and adjacent thereto. PARCEL NUIIBER THREE TheNorth One-half of Lot Eight (8) and all of Lot Nine (9) of The Indian Beach Corpora- tion' s Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in flat Book u, at page 61, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, together with all riparian rights appurtenai t thereto. A1h ALSO a strip of land lying 'lest of Collins Avenue and adjoining Indian Creek on the Easterly side thereof, the northerly boundary of which is the Northerly line of said Lot Nine (9) extended -1- OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY - CITY HALL - MIAMI BEACH 39, FLORIDA Westerly to Indian Creek and the Southerly boundary line of which is the Southerly line of the North One-half of said Lot Eight (c) extended Westerly to Indian Creek, together with riparian rights and water privileges appurtenant and adjacent thereto. NOW, THEREFOR;, ?;E IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that the fee simple title to all of the above-described property be acquired for development, use and maintenance for public park purposes for the benefit of said City and the in- habitants, and that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal pro- ceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of its right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said property for public park purposes.
