RESOLUTION NO. 7993
WHEREAS, Simpson J. Rosenberg and Harry Love and Bertha
Love, his wife, the owners of the property hereinafter described,
have offered to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the sum of
17,900.00 in cash, those certain parcels of lane_ situate in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 61, and 62, of Block 10
of Ocean Side Section of the
ISLE 01'' IvORMMAiTLY, according to
the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 25, at page 60, of
the Public Records of Lade
County, Florida.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement
between the parties by the terms of which the owners agree to sell
and the City agrees to buy said land at said price and upon the
conditions set forth in said agreement, the City Council being
familiar with the terms of said agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of said City to accept said offer and to enter into said agreement
to purchase, and to purchase said land for public street purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of 14iami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment in, the name of and on behalf of said City, and the disbursing
officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to disburse from funds of the City available for such purpose, the
sums required in order that the terms of said agreement may be
carried out.
