RESOLUTION NO. 8006
SANITARY SEWER LATERAL DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT SL-27
SL-27
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section Twenty-nine (29) and
Thirty (30) of the City Charter:
SL-27 The laying underground of six (6) inch
terra cotta sewer laterals , as a separate
improvement from the existing sanitary
sewer to the line of approximately each
fifty (50) feet of abutting property.
In Byron Avenue from Sixty-ninth Street
to Seventy-first Street and Carlyle
Avenue from Indian Creek Drive to Seventy-
first Street.
As said Streets and Avenues are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book Nine (9) ,
Page Fourteen (14) and Plat Book Twenty-
one (21 ) , Page Fifty-four (54) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Byron Avenue , Carlyle Avenue ,
Sixty-ninth (69) Street and Seventy-
first (71) Street are named and desig-
nated in Ordinance No. 232 and as said
Indian Creek Drive is named and desig-
nated in Ordinance No. 495•
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement with
an estimate of the cost, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates , the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services , abstracts, etc. , and any other expen-
ses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against the abutting property for each sewer lateral.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District SL-27 and is
described as follows:
Lots One (1) , Two (2) , Three (3 ) , Five (5) and
Six (6) , Block H; Lots Two (2 ) and Eight (8) ,
Block J, all in Amended Plat of Atlantic
Heights, according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book Nine (9) , at Page Fourteen ( 14) ,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
Lots One (1) , Two (2) , Five (5) and Six (6) ,
Block Thirteen (13) , Lots One (1) , Two (2) ,
Three (3 ) , Eight (8) , Ten (10) and Eleven (11) ,
Block Fourteen (14) , Lot Four (4) , Block
Fifteen (15) , all in Normandy Beach South,
according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book Twenty-one (21) , at Page Fifty-four (54) ,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.

This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-27, and
the property against which assessments therefor may be made for
the cost thereof shall be designated as District SL-27 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF May, A. D 1952
