RESOLUTION NO. 8007
SANITARY SEWER LATERAL DISTRICT
INPROVENENT SL-28 SL-28
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SL-26 The laying underground of six (6) inch terra cotta
sewer laterals as a separate improvement from the
. existing sanitary sewer to the line of approximately
each fifty (50) feet of abutting property.
In Dickens Avenue from Seventy-fifth (75th) Street
to Seventy-eighth (78th) Street and in Byron avenue
from Eighty-second (82nd) Street to Eighty-second
(82nd, Terrace.
As said Avenues, Streets, and Terrace are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book Eight (6) , at Page
Forty-one (41) , and Plat Book Forty-one (41) , at
Page Two (2) , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Dickens Avenue Seventy-fifth
(75th) Street and Seventy-eighth (78th) Street are
named and designated in Ordinance lvo. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said Improvement with an estimate
of the cost, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of pre-
liminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against the abutting property for each sewer lateral.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SL-28 and is described
as follows :
Lot One (1) , Block Twenty-four (24) ; Lot Six (6)
Block Twenty-five (25) ; Lots Three (3) and Four (Lv)
Block Twenty-six (26) ; Lots Two (2) , Three (3) ,
Four (L ) and Six (6) , Block Twenty-eight (28) ; Lot
Five (5) , Block Twenty-nine (29) and Lots Five (5)
and Six (6) , Block Thirty (30) , all in Altos Del
liar No. Three (3) , according to the Plat thereof re-
corded in Plat Book Eight (8) , at Page Forty-one (41)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
Lots Six (6) and Seven ( 7) , - Block Seven (7) , Hayns-
worth Beach Subdivision, according to the Plat
thereof recorded in Flat Book Forty-one (4l) , at
Page Two (2) , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.

This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-28, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SL-28.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF May, A.D. 1972.
