Resolution 8023 RESOLUTION NO. 8023
WHEREAS, George P. Jacobs and Lyda N. Jacobs, his wife, and
Dave Alper and Mary Alper, his wife, the owners of the property
hereinafter described, have offered to sell to the City of Miami
Beach. for the sum of ',10,500.00 in cash, that certain parcel of
land situate in Miami Beach, Daae County, Florida, described as
follows, to-wit:
Lot 22 of Block 10 of
Ocean Side Section of the
ISLE OF NORMANDY, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 25, at page 60,
of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement
between the parties by the terns of which the owners agree to
sell and the City agrees to buy said land at said price and upon
the conditions set forth in said agreement, the City Council
being familiar with the terms of said agreement, and
', HERD.AS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of said City to accept said offer and to enter into said agreement
to Purchase said land for public street purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City, and the dis-
bursing officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to disburse from funds of the City available for
such purpose, the sums required in order that the terms of said agree-
ment may be carried out.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May, A.D. 1952.
