RESOLUTION N0. 8029
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary to have constructed sidewalks and
paving improvements on property abutting Indian Creek Drive
and Dickens Avenue, including Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Block 4,
of NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH, a subdivision according to the flat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 21, at page 54, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, in order to construct said sidewalks and paving
improvements it will be necessary for the City to acquire title
to certain portions of said Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of said Block )4,
of said subdivision, and
WHEREAS, Mona Altman, a widow,
as the fee simple owners of said Lots 1 and 2 of said Block 4;
Atbay Realty Co. , a Florida Corporation, the fee simple owner
of said Lot 3 of said Block Li.; and Michael Most and EMMA
Most, his wife, as the fee simple owners of said Lot4 of said
flock L1., have indicated their willingness to convey to the City
certain designated westerly portions of said Lots 1, 2, 3 and
4 of said Block Li., in consideration of the covenants contained
in those certain agreements with the said owners, heretofore
prepared by the City Attorney, bearing aate the 21st day of May,
1952, with the terms of which saj. d agreements the City Council is
familiar, and
WHTREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best in-
terest of the Cityto acquire the said westerly portions of said
Lots 1, 2, 3 and , of Block Li., on the terms and in the manner set
forth in said agreements,
NOW, THEREFORE,FORE, 3E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreements in the name of and on behalf of said City.
