4HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has been advised that the University of Miami desires to lease
the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Municipal
Auditorium for the purpose of University of Miami Symphony
, Orchestra Summer Series of Pop Concerts , from Sunday, June
29th, 1952 and each succeeding Sunday thereafter, up to and
including Sunday, August 17th, 1952, the specific dates and
times being more particularly set forth in the Lease agreement
hereinafter referred to, and,
.1HEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City _attorney,
and ,
J ER AS, the City Council has been advised of, and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of said Lease Agreement,
and a eems it to be to the best interest of the City to autho-
rize the execution of said lease agreement,
,A11, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the i•iayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the above-described lease agreement on behalf of the
City of iiiami Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is here-
by authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
