Resolution 8061 RESOLUTION NO. 8061
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is a.Jout to
construct a new bridge across Indian Creek at 63rd Street, and
WHEREAS, the City needs to acquire tie use of property
to serve as approaches to and abutments for a temporary bridge
to be used while the new bridge is under construction, and
WHEREAS, ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL, INC. , a Florida Corporation,

has consented to lease to said City a portion of Lot 1 of Indian
Creek Subdivision for that purpose, said lease to be for a term
of twenty-six (26) months commencing on the first day of July,
1952, at a rental in the sum of v1,300.000 payable in advance,
and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared a written lease
agreement to be executed by the parties with the contents of which
said agreement the City Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FUHTHLR RESULVED that the disbursing officers of
said City be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make
the disbursements required by the terms of said lease out of funds
of the City available for such purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of July, A. D. 1952.
