Resolution 8062 RESOLUTION NO. 8062
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami beach,
Florida deems it desirable ana expedient to grant to Atlanta
Crackers, Incorporated, a Georgia Corporation, the right and
privilege of using that certain baseball playing field located
within 2leminT o Park, Miami Beach, Florida, as well as the
stands, locker rooms, artificial illumination, parking area
and fences used in connection therewith, during the Spring months
in the years lC3, 1954 and 1955, and
l'TFIEREAS, the Miami Beach Exhibition Company, a Florida
Corporation, has heretofore been r:ranted the right and privilege
to use the said baseball playing field ana its facilities but is
willing to consent to the grant, by the City of Miami Beach to
Atlanta Crackers, Incorporated, of the rights and privileges
hereinabove referred to, and
wiaERLAs, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement evi-
dencing the terms and conditions of the grant of the said rights
and to Atlanta Crackers, Incorporated,privileges and the consent
of the Miami Beach Exhibition Company to the terms and provisions
thereof, and the City Council being familiar with the terms of said
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, 9E IT RESOLVED by the City council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment in the name of and on behalf of said City.
