Resolution 8085 RESOLUTION 70. 8085 a11EREAS, the City Council is considering amending Ordi- nance No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning, Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida" , so as to provide that in Area District No. 18, there shall be a front yard having a depth of not less than five feet (5' ) , measured from the street line, and, unless the rear of the lot abuts on a street, waterway or alley, there shall be a rear yard. having a depth of not less than five feet (5' ) , and so as to provide that on Lot "A" and Lots One (1) to Twenty-three' (23) inclusive of Indian Beach Corporation' s Sub-division, and Lots One (1) to Thirty (30) inclusive and Lot Two Hundred Thirty-one (231) of First Oceanfront Sub-division there shall be a front yard having a depth of not less than Sixty-five (65' ) feet, when measured from the ocean and a rear yard , having a depth of not less than Fifty feet (50' ) when measured from Colins Avenue, and a side yard having a width of not less than Ten feet (10' ) on either side of a building and on Lots Two Hundred Thirty-two (232) to Two Hundred Forty-five (21+5) inclusive and Lots Three Hundred Thirty-two (332) to Three hundred Forty-five (345) inclusive in First Oceanfront Sub-division and on Lots One (1) to Eighteen (183 inclusive of Block One (1) and Lots One (1) to Eighteen (18) inclusive of Block Two (2) of Second Oceanfront Sub- division, there shall be a front yard having a depth of not less than Forty feet (40' ) , measured from the ocean and from Indian Creek and a rear yard having a depth of not less than Twenty-five feet (25' ) , measured from the street line and a side yard having a depth of not less than Ten feet (10' ) on either side of a building and so as to place in Area District No. 17 all of the Lyle G. Hall Sub-division and Tract Two (2) of the Bath Club property and Lot Seventeen (17) , lying Eagterly thereof. Also so as to divide the City into parking districts within one or more of which parking spaces shall be required to be provided in connection with every building hereafter erected , con- structed, reconstructed or st3ri.lcturally altered. NO:1, THEREFORE, LiE If -- ESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby called to be held .on the 27th day of August, 1952 at 10.00 o' clock a.m. in the Council Chambers in the City of Diiami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give at least fifteen (15) days' notice of the time, place and object of said hearing, by publishing a notice there- of in the'Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circulation, in said City.
