Resolution 8086 RESOLUTION NO. 8086 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1953. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that: WHEREAS, the City Tax Assessor of said City has notified this body that the amount of the sum total of taxable property in said City of Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, for the tax year of 1952 is Three Hundred Twenty Eight Million, Eight Hundred Fifty Nine Thousand, One Hundred Fifty Dollars and 00/100 Dollars ($328,859,150.00), which, however, includes Two Hundred Seventy Thousand, Four Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($270,400.00) in Widow's, Veteran's and Disability Exemptions, leaving a working gross assessed valuation of Three Hundred Twenty Eight Million, Five Hundred Eighty Eight Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($328,588,750.00), which total is subject to an allowance of Twenty Million, Nine Hundred Forty-one Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($20,941,450.00) for Homestead Exemptions, pursuant to the provisions of an Act known as"Senate Bill No. 123", adopted by the State Legislature in 1935 and as amended, leaving a net assessed valuation of Three Hundred and Seven Million, Six Hundred Forty-seven Thousand, Three Hundred and 00/100 (307,647,300.00) : THEREFORE, in conformity with Section 43 of the City Charter of said City, the City Council has ascertained the amount of the money needed for each department and makes the following estimate to be raised by taxes on all of the taxable property in the said City for the year A.
