Resolution 8090 RESOLUTION NO. 8090
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk and
Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held August 19, 1952,
for the purpose of selecting candidates for Trustee from Group 2
of the Employees Retirement System of the City of Miami Beach, in
accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 8075, as passed
and adopted by the City Council on August 6, 1952, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns and
certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said
City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the result of
said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the Trustee from Group
2 elected to the Board of Trustees of the Employees Retirement
System to be DAVID J. CLEARY, elected by 77 votes out of a total of
80 votes cast, being a clear majority of the votes cast at the
Primary Election.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of August, A. D. 1952.
