Resolution 8135 RESOLUTION WO. 8135
WHEREAS, the City t Council y of the City of nami Beach, Florida,
deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the inhabitants
thereof, to acquire, for public street -urposes, for the use of
said City and its inhabitants, the following described land situate
lying and being in Miami Beach, Daae County, Florida, to-wit:
The westerly Two anu five-tenths (2.5) feet of Lots
Three ( 3) ana Four (4) , Block Seven (7) , REACH BAY
SUBDIVISION, as shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book
/A-, page 25, of the Public Records of Dacie County,
Florida,
AND
A portion of Lots One (1) ana Two (2) of said Block
Seven ( 7) , BEACH BAY SUBDIVISION, described as follows:
Begin at the southwesterly corner of said Lot Two (2) ,
thence run northerly along the westerly boundary of said
Lot Two (2) , a distance of Fifty (50) Feet to the north-
westerly corner of said Lot Two (2) ; thence run north-
easterly along the northwesterly boundary of said Lot
One (1) , a distance of Thirty anu One-tenth (30.1) feet
to a point; thence run easterly along a line parallel
to and twenty-five (25) feet northerly of the southerly
boundary of said Lot One ( 1) a distance of Four (L1 )
feet to a point; thence run in a southwesterly direction
Twenty-Dight (28) feet, more or less, to a point on the
southerly boundary of said Lot One ( 1) , said point being
ten and five-tenths (10.5) feet easterly of the south-
westerly corner of said Lot One (1) , as measured along
the said southerly boundary of said Lot One ( 1) ; thence
run in a southwesterly direction Forty-two (J 2) feet, more
or less, to a point, said point being on a line parallel
to and two and five-tenths (2.5) feet easterly of the
westerly boundary of saiu Lot Two (2) ana three ana twelve
one-hundredths (3.12) feet, measured along said line,
northerly of the southerly boundary of said Lot Two (2) ;
thence run in a southerly direction along s ai a line a
distance of three and twelve one-hundredths (3.12) feet
to a point on the said southerly boundary of Lot Two (2) ;
thence run westerly along the said southerly boundary of
Lot Two ( 2) two and five-tenths (2.5) feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, TE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
ofiami Reach, Florida, that it is necessary that the fee simple
title to the above-described property be acquired for use and main-
tenance for public street purposes for the oenefit of said City and
its inhabitants, anu
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal proceedings
in the name of said City in the exercise of the right of eminent
domain for the condemnation of said property for said purposes.
