HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-366 H-3 66
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
fi 3 66 Alley between Lenox Avenue and JYiichigan Avenue from
Sixth (6th) Street to Seventh (7th) Street to be
paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved to
a width of twenty (20) feet with a bituminous wearing
surface on an eight (8) incl:. rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins.
As said Alley, Avenues and Streets are shown on Plat
recorded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Eighty-one (81)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Lenox Avenue and ilichigan Avenue are named
and desicnated in L'rdinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specific, tions of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-366, and is described
as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on said
alley and lying between Sixth (6th) and Seventh (7th)
Streets.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-366, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-366.
