SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SR-521 SR-521
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-521 The laying underground of an eight (8) inch terra cotta
sanitary sewer and necessary manholes and appurtenances
at or near the center line of the alley west of Collins
Avenue from a point at or near the southerly line pro-
duced westerly of Lot Five (5) , Block Nine (9) , Harding
Townsite, to a point at or near the northerly line of
Seventy-third (73rd) Street, together with a Six (6)
inch terra cotta sewer lateral to the line of each Fifty
(50 ) feet of abutting property as a part of the main
improvement.
As said Alley, Avenue , Street, Lot, Block and Subdivi-
sion are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book Thirty-
four (34) , at Page Four (4) , of the Puolic Records of
Dade County, Florida, and as said Collins Avenue and
Seventy-third (73rd) Street are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and and esti-
mate of the cost thereof; including en estimate of the cost of the
• expenses of preliminary and other surveys; the inspection and superin-
i, tendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assesanents are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SR-521 and is des-
cribed as follows:
Lots Six (6) , Seven (7) , Tnirteen (13 ) , and Fourteen
(14) , Block Nine (9) , Harding Townsite, according to
the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book Thirty-four
(34) , at Page Four (4) , of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-521, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SR-521.
