SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-162 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides
of Byron Avenue from Sixty-ninth (69) Street to
Seventy-first (71) Street.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Nine (9) , Page Fourteen
(14) , and Plat Book Twenty-one (21) , Page Fifty-
four (54) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Byron Avenue, Sixty-ninth
(69) Street and Seventy-first (71) Street are
naT_ed and designated in Ordinance No . 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to Prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-162 and is described
as follows:

All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Byron Avenue and lying between Sixty-ninth (69)
Street and Seventy-first (7i) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceeding, assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-162, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-162.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of November, A.D. , 1952.
