Resolution 8160 rL,JOLUTION NO. 8160
:JHEREAS, KINSMAN LANDSCAPE CO. , a Florida Corporation
has offered to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the sum of
Fifty-One Thousand and Five Hundred ( ;51, 500.00) Dollars cash,
those certain parcels of land, situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as follows , to-wit:
Lots 18, 19 and 20 of Block 30, of 1IIAMI VIEW
SECTION, ISLE OF NORMANDY, according to the
plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 34, at
Page 80, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
.ALSO from a concrete monument which marks the
intersection of the southerly line of North
Everglades Concourse and the ';Iesterly line of
Trouville Esplanade, Trouville Section, Isle
of normandy; run westerly along the south side
of North Everglades Concourse 128. 5 feet for a
point of beginning; thence continue westerly
along the south line of North Everglades Con-
course extended; which line is a curve having
a radius of 1694.34 feet, an arc distance of 150
feet; thence southerly along a line radial to
the last mentioned curve 125 feet to a point;
thence easterly along a curve concentric with
the first mentioned curve and having a radius
of 1819.34 feet, an arc distance of 161.07 feet
to a point; thence northerly along a line radial
to the last mentioned curve 125 feet to the point
of beginning and containing .47 acres, more or
less . This tract of land embraces three equal
sized lots known as Nos. 10, 11 and 12 of Block
30 of an unrecorded ,plat of the Miami View
Section of Isle of Normandy, Part 2.
AND '.I REAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach deems it to be to the best interest of said City to acquire
said property at said price for public park purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement
covering the purchase of said lands, with the terms of which
said agreement the City Council is familiar,
Naa, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City manager be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to close the transaction
in accordance with the terms of said agreement and the Disburse-
ment Officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to pay the monies called for by the terms of said agree-
ment out of funds of the City available for such purpose.
