RESOLUTION NO. 8168
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that The
University of Miami desires to lease the premises and facilities
of the Miami Beach piunicibal Auditorium for the presentation of
the University of Miami Concert Series for the Season 1952-1953,
the specific events, dates and times being more particularly set
forth in the Lease Agreement hereinafter referred to, and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of, and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease agreement,
and deems it to be to the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of said lease agreement,
;O.I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above-described lease agreement on behalf of the City of
Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is hereby author-
ized and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions
undertaken therein by the City.
