RESOLUTION N0. 8180 •
:IHEREAS, LEON SIRKIN and SALLEY SIRKIN, his wife,
ALEXANDER SIRKIN, a single man, MILTON SIRKIN and MIRIAM SIRKIN,
his wife and ADELE ZIVITZ, joined by her husband, NELSON ZIVITZ,
the Owners of Lots Twelve (12) to Sixteen (16) inclusive of Block
One lundred :eleven (111) , OCEANBEACII ADDITION NUMBER 'THREE, have
offered to sell said land to the City of Miami Beach for the sum
of One Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand (4135,000.00) Dollars cash,
AND WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an Agree-
ment to be executed by the parties in the premises, with the terms
of which said Agreement City Council is familiar, and
JHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best
interest of the City to purchase said land for said price for
public park, playground, marina and other public purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City 1`lanager be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to close the transaction
contemplated by the terms of said Agreement and the disbursing
officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to disburse the monies required to be disbursed by the
terms of said Agreement, from funds of the City available for
such purpose.
