SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SK-165 SK-165
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-165 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the south side
of Seventy-first (71st) Street from Trouville
Esplanade to Rae Granville .
As said Streets and Esplanade are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Twenty-five (25) , at page
Fifty-six (56) and Plat Book Thirty-four (34) at
page Eighty (80) , of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Seventy-first (71st)
Street is named and designated in Ordinance No . 982 .
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services , abstracts ,
etc . , and` any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-165 and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the
south side of Seventy-first (71st) Street and lying
between Trouville Esplanade and Rue Granville .
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-165, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-165.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of December,A.D,1952 .
