RESOLUTION GRANTING RIGHT AND PERAIIT TO MARVIiv
REALTY COMPANY TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A
BUILDING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF MERIDIAN
AVENUE AND 17TH STREET IN THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING, ABOVE THE GROUND
FLOOR, OUT OVER AND BEYOND THE PROPERTY LINE;
AND AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO
EXECUTE ANY AND ALL PERMITS NECESSARY TO GIVE
EFFECT TO THIS RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, Marvin Realty Company has applied to the City of Miami
Beach for a permit to erect and construct a store building at the south-
east corner of 17th Street and Meridian Avenue in said City in accordance
with building plans filed in the Building Department of the City with
such application; and
WHEREAS, the northwest corner of said building would extend over
such streets above the first or ground floor a maximum of 15 feet on the
south line of said 17th Street extended west and a maximum of 24 inches
along the east line of Meridian Avenue extended north; and
WHEREAS, an erection and construction of the proposed building in
such manner will in no way affect or impair the public easement in said
street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that :
(1) A right and permit be, and they hereby are, granted to Marvin
Realty Company to construct and maintain a building on the southeast cor-
ner of Meridian Avenue and 17th Street in the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
the northwest corner of which building will extend over said streets
above the ground floor of said building a maximum of 15 feet along the
south line of 17th Street extended west and a maximum of 24 inches ex-
tending south therefrom, as more particularly appears from the plans of
said building on file with the Building Department of the City.
(2) That the plans for the construction of said building shall in
all other respects conform to the provisions of the Building Code of the
City of Miami Beach.
(3) That all proper City officials are authorized and directed to
execute any and all permits and take all such action as may be necessary
to give effect to this resolution.
