Resolution 8207 RESOLUTION NO. 8207
WHEREAS, the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida, wishes
to express its warmest appreciation to WILLIAM B. MAC DONALD,
JR. , for his sponsorship of the International Four-Ball Jam-
boree which was held at the Normandy Shores Golf Course,
December 17 - 21, 1952; and
WHEREAS, this Tournament, proceeds from which directly
benefited St. Francis and Mount Sinai Hospitals, received tre-
mendous publicity in the press throughout the nation and
focused the attention of the country on our wonderful city;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Miami
Beach, Florida, that our thanks and commendation be conveyed
to Mr. MacDonald for initiating and carrying through to a
successful conclusion, an outstanding sporting activity --
The International Four-Ball Jamboree .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be sent to Mr. MacDonald as tangible evidence of our sincere
regard.
