Resolution 8216 RESOLUTION NO. 8216
WHEREAS, on the 31st day of October, 1946, the City of
Miami Beach entered into an agreement with Miami Beach Heights,
Inc . , a Florida Corporation, whereby the City of Miami Beach
agreed to render sewage disposal services to the said Miami Beach
Heights, Inc . , at and for the considerations set forth in the
said agreement, and
WHEREAS, the said Miami Beach Heights, Inc. , thereafter
assigned its rights under the said agreement to the Village of
Hal Harbor, a. Florida Municipal Corporation, and the said Village
of Fal Harbor expressly assumed all the duties and obligations
of said agreement, and
WHEREAS, said agreement expired by its terms on the first
day of November, 1951, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Dal Harbor has requested the City
of Miami Beach to renew and extend the said agreement for a period
ending November 1, 1956, on the identical terms and provisions set
forth in said agreement, and
WIHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agreement duly
exte: ding the herein-described agreement for the said additional
period of time, and the City Council being familiar with the terms
of said extension agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, PE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the said
extension agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
