RESOLUTION NO. 8228 •

WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has heretofore acquired
the fee simple title in and to that certain parcel of land situate
in Miami Beach, Dade County, h'lorida, to-wit:
•
The South Half of the following described property
taken together as a single unit, to-wit: •
Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 20 of BISCAYNE FOIi `ll
FIRST ADDITION, according to the Plat thereof,
as recorded in Plat Book 26, at page 63, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and •
Block 18 of T.3ISCAYNE POINT, a Subdivision, ac-
cording to the Plat thereof, as recorded in •
Plat Book 114, at page 35, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida. •
AND, WHEREAS, one Bea Robbins is the owner of Lot 3 and the •
• forth 2.75 feet of Lot 2 of the above-mentioned 'lock 20, and
Shapgood Properties, Inc. , a Florida Corporation, is the owner
of the fee simple title in and to the South 50 feet of the North
52.75 feet of said Lot 2, and
WHEREAS, some of the descriptions used in the chain of title
of the lands heretofore mentioned have been vague and confusing to
such an extent that the said Bea Robbins and Shapgood Properties,
Inc. , desire to procure quit-claim deeds from. the City of Miami
•
Beach to the lands owned by them and above-described, no portion
of which has been acquired by the City, and no portion of which is
being claimed by the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared quit-claim deeds to
accomplish the said purpose,
NOW, TI EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk •
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
quit-claim deeds in the name of and on behalf of said City.
