vIHEREAS, JyC .1UELINE C. HALL and CHARLES F. HALL, her
husband, the Owners of the Northerly One-Half (Ni) of the parcel
of land lying between the Eastern extremity of Sixteenth (16th)
Street and the .atlantic Ocean, have consented to sell said land
to the City of Miami Bench for the sum of Thirt:r-Eight Thousand
(+;x38,000.00) Dollars in cash,
;IHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared. an Agreement
to be executed by the parties in the premises, with the terms of
which said Agreement City Council is familiar, and
JIREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best
interest of the City to purchase said land for said price for
public park purposes,
i\TOi'7, THEREFORE, BE 1T -ESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to close the transaction
contemplated by the terms of said Agreement and the disbursing
officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to disburse the monies required to be disbursed by the
terms of said Agreement, from funds of the City available for
such purpose.
