Resolution 8230 RESOLUTION NO. 8230
'.THEREAS, the City of Miami Beach did on December 7,
1951 enter into a contract with Architect Norman I . Giller,
by the terms of which said Architect was employed by the City
to perform certain services in connection with the erection
of an addition to the Police Station and the alteration of
the existing Police Station building, and,
• .1rIBREAS, it is the desire of the parties to cancel
said agreement after the payment by the City to the said
Architect of the amount due him thereunder, and,
WHEREAS, the City attorney has prepared an instru-
ment, by the terms of which the said agreement of December 7,
1951 is cancelled and each of the parties thereto released
from any obligations to the other, with the terms of which
said instrument the City Council is familiar.
NOJ THEREFORE,R ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said
instrument in the name of and on behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida.
