Resolution 8231 RESOLUTION NO. 8231
hTREAS, on December 7, 1951 the City of Miami Beach
entered into a contract with architect Norman M. Giller, by the
terms of which the said City employed said architect in connec-
tion with the erection of an addition to the existing Police
Station and alterations thereof, which said agreement has been
cancelled by mutual consent, and,
,THERAS, it is the desire of the said parties to enter
into a new agreement covering the services of said architect
in connection with the preparation of preliminary sketches as
well as plans and specifications and the supervision of the
construction, and,
`.1HEIEAS, the City Attorney has prepared a contract
between the City and said architect contemplating the new
employment with the terms of which new contract City Council
is familiar,
bOi, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said con-
tract in the name of and on behalf of said City.
