Resolution 8307 RESOLUTION NO . 8307
WHEREAS, A. R. Cohen has offered to lease to the
City of Miami Beach for use as a terminus for a temporary
bridge, that certain parcel of land situate in said City
and described as follows, to-wit :
Lot 24 of Block 3 of FLAMINGO
TERRACE SUBDIVISION, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 10, at page 3, of
the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida,
for the period of nine (9) months from April 1st, 1953, at a
rental of $1,000.00, the lease to be renewable from month to
month for three months at a rental of $300.00 per month, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of said City to enter into said lease, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared a written lease ac-
cording to said terms with the terms of which said lease the
City Council is familiar
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be .and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said lease on behalf of and in the name of, said City and the
disbursing officers of theCity be and they are hereby authorized
to make the expenditures required by the said lease out of funds
of the City available for such purpose .
