HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-352 DISTRICT H-352
3E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLOHIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to Proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-352 Lenox Avenue from Fifth (5th) Street to Sixth (6th)
Street to be paved and where heretofore paved to be
repaved to a width of fifty (50) feet with a bitu-
minous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base,
together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, man-
holes and catch basins, and improved on both sides
with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Eighty-one (81) ,
and Plat Book Six (6) , Page Eighty-three (83) of
the Public =3ecords of Dade County, Florida, and as
said Lenox Avenue is named and designated in
Ordinance ivo. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the Preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and prover in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The prope=rty against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby% designated as District H-352 and is described
as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Lenox Avenue and lying between Fifth (5th) Street
and Sixth (6th) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-352, and the property against which as-
sessments therefore may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District H-352.
