Resolution 8318 RESOLUTION NO . 8318
JHEREAS, JULIA LOUISE REYNOLDS is willing to sell to the
City for the sum of Four Thousand (P.,000 .00) Dollars in cash,
that certain parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Begin at the intersection of the northerly line of
Lot 335, Amended Plat of First Ocean Front Subdivision
of the Miami Beach Bayshore Company, as shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book 9, at page 78, of the Pub-
lic Records of Dade County, Florida, and the westerly
line of Collins Avenue as shown on said Plat; thence
westerly along the northerly line of said Lot 335, a
distance of 3 .19 feet; thence southerly along a portion
of a circular curve deflecting to the right, said curve
having a central angle 360 02 ' and a radius of 660.64 ' , a
distance of 134 feet, more or less, to the southerly line
of said Lot 335; thence easterly along the southerly
line of Lot 335 a distance of 30.16 feet to the said
westerly line of Collins Avenue; thence northerly along
the said westerly line of Collins Avenue, a distance of
136 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning .
AND, WHEREAS, the City Attorney has caused to be prepared
an agreement between the City and the said Owner, in which the terms
of said proposed sale are set forth and with which the memb._rs of
the City Council are familiar, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of the City to purchase said land for public street and sidewalk
purposes upon the terms and conditions set forth in said agreement,
NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement
in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the disbursing officers be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to make such disbursements
as are called for by said agreement out of funds of the City available
for such purpose .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of April A. D. 1953 .
