Resolution 8329 RESOLUTION NO . 8329
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
deems it to be to the best interest of said City to enter into a
lease with Summer Gardens, Inc . , a Florida Corporation, as Lessor
and City of Miami Beach, as Lessee, covering the northwest one-quarter
of the floor space in the warehouse building owned by said Lessor
located at 730 First Street, Miami Beach, Florida, said lease to
be for a period of nine (9) months from April 3, 1953, with an option
to renew for an additional four (LE) months, all at the rate of
$166 .67 per month, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has submitted a written lease covering
the terms of said transaction,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of said City, and the disbursing officers of said
City be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the dis-
bursements required by said lease out of funds of said City avail-
able for such purposes .
