Resolution 8366 RESOLUTION NO. 8366
WHEREAS, the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida,
wishes to take special recognition of the outstanding
accomplishments attained by the debating team of the Miami
Beach High School in the field of forensic endeavors; and
WHEREAS, we are most cognizant of the tremendous good
.will and excellent public relations that have ensued as a
result of the appearance of our local High School ' s
representatives in various debating contests throughout the
country;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the City Council
of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby express our warmest appreci-
ation to members of this team for the excellence of their
educational demonstrations which have resulted in drawing
nationwide recognition to our local school program, and to
their Directress for the excellence of her guidance . It has
been truly exhibited that the foundations laid for the
training of youth in usefulness to themselves and their
fellowmen have resulted in originality, vision and courage
in thought, speech and act.
We unanimously commend you.
