SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the city Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-172 A four foct, six inch (L)6r" ) concrete sidewalk
adjacent to the existing sidewalk on the south
side of Normandy Drive from Rue Versailles to
Rue Notre Dame.
As said Normandy Drive, Rue Versailles and Rue
Notre Dame are shown on Plats recorded in Plat
Book Twenty-five (25) , Page Sixty (60) , and
Plat Book Forty (40) , Page Thirty-five (35) of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Normandy Drive is named and designated
in Ordinance No. 538.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk , plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of pre-
liminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work,
the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates , the printing and
publication of notices and proceedings , the preparation of bonds, interest
during construction, legal services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and the work herein pro-
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot
of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
improvement is hereby designated as District SK-172 and is described as
follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the
south side of Normandy Drive and lying between Rue
Versailles and Rue Notre Dame.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-172, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall he designated as
District SK-172.
