Resolution 8418 RESOLUTION NO . 8418
WHEREAS, Black, Inc . , a Florida Corporation, is the
owner of the following described land situate in the City of
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, as follows, to-wit :
That certain portion of Lot 64 of Block 7 of
SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, according to
the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 28, at
page 28, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, described and bounded as follows :
Bounded on the easterly side by a line parallel
to and 24 .5 feet, measured at right angles ,
easterly of the tangent portion of the westerly
line of said Lot 64 and the southerly prolonga-
tion of said tangent, said tangent portion being
tangent to a circular curve of 119 .93 feet radius,
forming the southwesterly and southerly boundary
of said Lot 64;
Bounded on the westerly side by a line parallel
to and 9 .5 feet, measured at right angles, wes-
terly of the above described easterly boundary;
Bounded on the southerly side by the above-mentioned
southwesterly and southerly line of said Lot 64;
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly line
of said Lot 64 .
AND WHEREAS, said BLACK, INC . , has offered to sell the
above-described land to the City of Miami Beach for the sum of
$9,000 .00 cash, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an Agreement to be
executed by the parties in the premises, with the terms of which
the said City Council is familiar, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of the City to purchase said land for said price for public street
purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to close the transaction contem-
plated by the terms of said Agreement and the disbursing officers
of the City be and they are hereby authorized and direct, d to
disburse the monies required to be disbur -d by the ter'r of said
Agreement , from funds of the City ava -b1- -for s h .purpose .
