Resolution 8420 RESOLUTION NO. 8420 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach has been advised that the Gershwin Concert Orchestra Company desires to lease the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium for the presentation of a "Gershwin Festival" which is to be composed of a small symphony orchestra, two vocalists and a famed piano soloist for Friday, March 19th, 1954, and SEAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney, and WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease agreement and deems it to be to the best interest of the City to authorize the execution of said lease agreement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above described lease agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein by the City.
