Resolution 8446 RESOLUTION NO. 8446
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering amending
Ordinance No . 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, so as to include in Area
District No . 25 the following described land situate in Miami
Beach, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 5 to 12, inclusive, of Block 93;
Lots 1 to 8, inclusive, of Block 94;
• Lots 1 to 7, inclusive, of Block 95;
All in Ocean Beach Addition No . 3, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2,
at page 81, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
AND so as to include in "BB" Business District, that certain
parcel of land lying immediately northward of and contiguous to
Lots 3 to 6, inclusive, of B)� kg can Front Property of
Miami Beach Improvement Co . , p.$7TIn Bol6k 5, pages 7 and 8,
of the Public Records of Dade County, said parcel having a frontage
of 85 feet on Liberty Avenue and a depth of 180 feet .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and the
same is hereby called to be held on the 19th day of August, A.D.
1953, at 10:00 o 'clock A.M. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall
of Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to give at least fifteen days"" notice of the time, place
and object of said hearing, by publishing notice thereof in the
Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said City of Miami
Beach, Florida, in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance No . 289
of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of July, A. D. 1953 .
