RESOLUTION NO. 8470
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering amending Ordi-
nance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida" so that a new Area District
will be created in which the requirement shall be that there
shall be a front yard of not less than 'i'wenty-five (25' ) Feet
when measured from any waterway, bay or ocean, and a rear
yard having a depth of not less than Twenty-five (25' ) Feet
when measured from the street line, and a side yard having a
width of not less than Five (5' ) Feet on either side of a
building, and so that the following described land shall be
included in such urea District, to wit:
All of Blocks 15 and 16 of BISCAYNE BEACH
SECOND ADDITION, according to the Plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 46 at page
39 of the Public 1zecords of Dade County,
Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to be held on the 2nd day
of September, A. D. 1953, at 10:000 o'clock A.AI. , in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida,
for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he
is he. eby directed to give at least fifteen days' notice of
the time, place and object of said hearing, by publishing
notice thereof in the Florida Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City of Miami Beach, Florida, in con-
formity wit _ Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289 of said City.
