Resolution 8511 RESOLUTION NO. 8511
WHEREAS, theCity Council of the City of Miami Beach is
considering amending Ordinance No . 289, commonly known as the
• "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida" so as
to include automobile rental agencies in the "BB" B siness
District, provided that such automobile rental agencies be
within an enclosed building of sufficient area to house or
-store at least fifty per cent (50%) of the automobiles pro-
posed to be rented.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and the
same is hereby called to be held on the 7th day of October ,
A. D. 1953, at 10:00 o 'clock A.M. , in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall of Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of
said amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing, by publishing notice
thereof in the Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circulation
in said City of Miami Beach, Florida, in conformity with Section
21 of Ordinance No . 289 of said City.
