Resolution 8548 RESOLUTION NO. 8548 WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WW-117 WW-117 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, met on October 21, 1953 , pursuant to the notice under Sections 29 and 30 of the Charter of the said City to hear all written objections to the confirmation of the preliminary assessment roll of Whiteway Improvement WW-117 , District WW-117 , by ':.ny person whose property is described in said preliminary assessment roll, which roll was filed with said City Council on October 7, 1953 and WHEREAS, the City Council , having received no written objections filed to the confirmation of said preliminary assessment roll by any person whose property is described in said roll, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Miami Beach. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten days after this confirmation of Gid assessment roll the same be delivered tc:o the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered, thirty days after the date of this resolution, to make collection of the assessments therein as required by law, provided, however, that the owner of any lot or parcel of land which shall have been assessed in excess of $25.00 may, before the lapse of said thirty days, file with the City Clerk his written undertaking, waiving all irregularities and illegality in connection with said assessments ac;ainst said lot or parcel and agree to pay the same in equal instalments in each of the five succeeding years at the time in said years at which the general City taxes are due and payable, with interest upon said deferred instalments at the rate of six per cent per annum from date of said confirmation, which said five year period is hereby fixed and determined by the City Council .
