4HEHEAS, Nat ' eller and wife and Irving Kipnis and wife
have agreed to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the sum of
w150.00 cash, for straightening the curve in Collins Avenue
near 54th Street, a parcel of land situate in said City and
bounded as follows:
That portion of Lot 332 of - IRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDI-
VISION of the Miami Beach Bayshore Company, according
to the Amended Plat thereof, recorded in Pat Book 9,
at page 78, of the Publictecords of Dade County,
Florida, bounded as follows:
Begin at the intersection of the northerly line of
Lot 332 of FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, of the
Miami Beach Bayshore Company, as shown on Amended
Plat recorded in Plat Book 9, at page 78, of the
Public _tecords of Dade County, Florida, and the
westerly line of Collins Avenue as shown on said
Plat; thence westerly along the northerly line of
said Lot 332, a distance of 10.88 feet; thence
southerly along a portion of a circular curve de-
flecting to the right, said curve having a central
angle of 360 02' and a radius of 660.64 feet, a
{ distance of 5.25 feet; thence continue southerly
along a straight line, said line being tangent to
the aforementioned curve, a distance of 11.45 feet
more or less, to the said westerly line of Col-
lins Avenue; thence northerly along the said
westerly line of Collins Avenue 23 .75 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning.
and,
WHEREAS, the City attorney has prepared an agreement by
the terms of which the Owners agree to sell and the City agrees
to purchase said land for said price and upon the terms and con-
ditions set forth in said agreement, the City Council being fa-
miliar with the terms thereof,
N0d, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute and enter into said
agreement for and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the disbursing officers of the
City are, and they are hereby ordered and directed to make such
expenditures as are called for by the terms of said agreement out
of the funds of the City available for such purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of November, A. D. 1953.
