Resolution 8584 RESOLUTION NO. 8584
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has been advised that the BROTHERHOOD OF RAILROAD TRAINMEN
desires to lease the premises and facilities of the Miami
Beach Auditorium for the purpose of a Convention commenc-
ing at 8:00 o 'clock A. M. on Sunday, the 29th day of
August, 1954, and terminating at 5 :00 o 'clock P. M. on
Saturday, the 9th day of October, 1954, and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City
Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and
is familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease
agreement and deems it to be to the best interest of
the City to authorize the execution of said lease agree-
ment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the above described lease agreement
on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, and that the Audi-
torium Manager is hereby authorized and directed to carry
into effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein
by the City.
